Job description

Reports To: Outbound Manager

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm – overtime during busy seasons may be required and/or voluntary

Location: Northport, AL


Job Overview:

Primary focus will be completing the bag and tag functions related to screen printed orders.  This role will require a high level of concentration and attention to detail. This includes the adherence to the quality control standards for garment hang tagging, folding, bagging, and shipping are met at every step of the process.  Attention-to-detail in all record keeping and reporting is an integral part of this role as well.


Job Responsibilities – including but not limited to:

  • Help with the proper staging of garments coming from the press team until the order is processed in the B&T department.
  • Count and verify goods against press team information on work orders.
  • Ensure quality of goods being shipped to customers.
  • Reading and interpreting the information related to B&T tasks on the work orders to determine next steps.
  • Hang tagging garments as specified.
  • Properly affix barcode labels onto garments or bags.
  • Loading garments properly into the garment folding/bagging machine.
  • Affixing labels/stickers onto the bags as specified.
  • Prepare garments for individual shipping, group shipping, and orders to be picked up.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the B&T and shipping departments.
  • Work with Shipping as needed for boxing orders to be shipped.


Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail/problem solving skills
  • Organization and efficiency
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
