Position Summary
The Manager, Corporate Print Shop Services oversees the daily operations of print services provided by the corporate print shop , ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role manages staff, equipment, workflow, and vendor and enterprise-wide client relationships while driving efficiency and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on print production knowledge with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Essential Functions
  • Oversee daily operations of the print shop, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Build out the Print Shop function across the enterprise to support needs of various enterprise-wide client groups.
  • Manage production schedules, prioritize jobs, and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the team to include the hiring and training of new team members, coaching employees and monitoring performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality output by staying current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for complex projects and consult with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with enterprise clients and internal ImmunityBio teams to provide accurate production timelines and resolve issues.
  • Develop and enforce operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control cost. Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials are maintained by the shop.
  • Operate and troubleshoot digital and offset printing equipment.
  • Manage vendor relationships pertaining to outsourced productions and inventory management.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain expertise in various printing methods: digital, offset, large format, screen printing, and finishing techniques.
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment, software, or processes to ensure printing services offer best in class products.
  • Create, edit and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process improvements, and standardization of templates.
  • Perform ad-hoc and cross-functional duties and/or projects assigned to support business needs and provide developmental opportunities.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Print Technology, Business Management, or related field with 5+ years of corporate print services experience is required, or
  • High school diploma or equivalent; with 9+ years of corporate print services experience is required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficiency with wide-format printing, direct mail, and variable data printing.
  • Proficiency with digital printing equipment and software (Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software)
  • Strong knowledge of print production processes, color management, and finishing techniques
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of estimating software and print shop management systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Working Environment / Physical Environment
  • This position works on site in El Segundo, CA.
  • Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, within standard business hours. Flexibility is available with manager approval.
  • Ability to work weekends or after hours occasionally to support dynamic production schedules and relevant timelines as needed
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
$136,500 (entry-level qualifications) to $150,000 (highly experienced) annually
