The Role

ABCorp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to drive key internal systems implementation and business transformation projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, excellent client management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

This is an in-person role with our team based in the Dedham/Needham/West Roxbury area!

How You’ll Make a Difference:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Oversee the execution of system implementations and business transformation projects, ensuring adherence to established plans and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with internal to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing regular status updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for business and digital transformation, process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and applying them to future projects.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to business leadership and stakeholders highlighting progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation is maintained and accessible.
  • Define and implement success measures to track optimal customer and business transformation project outcomes.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), equivalent certification or experience is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of project management and/or management consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in a manufacturing, technology or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work through ambiguity with a strong ability to know when to escalate and de-escalate issues to management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
