About your role:
Fiserv's print production team manufactures secure, full-color payment cards and related materials for client programs. The Press Operator will join a hands-on production team responsible for maintaining high throughput and strict quality controls on offset and other print equipment. Success in this role delivers accurate, secure, and on-time print output that supports client fulfillment and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do:
  • Operate, set up, and monitor offset and other print/press machines to run scheduled production cycles for secured card and related print jobs.
  • Examine job tickets and work orders to confirm stock, colors, print specifications, and special instructions prior to setup.
  • Control and adjust machine settings, perform plate and cylinder changes, and maintain ink fountains to sustain print quality and color consistency.
  • Inspect prints for ink density, registration, and positional accuracy; make real-time adjustments and document quality checks to meet job ticket specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine errors, perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press components, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines and change rolls or sheets as required to maintain continuous production.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 2+ years of printing press operating experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1+ years of lithographic printing press experience.
  • 1+ years of experience effectively matching colors for print press operation.
  • Prior experience with interpreting and understanding print work orders.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often
  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often

Experience that would be great to have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience or certification.
  • 4+ years of print press operating experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
  • 2+ years of Komori press operating experience.

How you'll work:
  • Up to $10,000 sign on bonus based on experience
  • You will work an assigned 3rd shift schedule of Monday-Thursday, 8:00pm-7:00am.
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
  • This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
