We are seeking a high-performing Senior Manager of Technology Operations to lead our core infrastructure, automation, and support teams. In this role, you will oversee enterprise file transfer systems, workload automation, print fulfillment, and AWS cloud environments. You will drive operational excellence by managing critical vendor relationships, establishing robust support frameworks, and leading a high-performing team of engineers and analysts.
** Please NOTE: Applicants must reside in the United States in one of the 50 States or the District of Columbia in order to be considered for this role. **
**US Citizenship requirements- as this role supports services provided to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor, proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at time of hire.**
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, performance, security, and continuous improvement of Managed File Transfer (MFT), Control-M, Control-D, print fulfillment platforms, and associated AWS-hosted infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability and operational excellence through the establishment, monitoring, and reporting of key performance metrics, SLAs, and system health indicators.
  • Direct incident management, escalation, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs to minimize risk and ensure service resilience.
  • Drive the adoption of AI, AIOps, and automation solutions to enhance monitoring, reduce operational complexity, streamline workflows, and improve service reliability.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and intelligent automation to improve technical documentation, knowledge management, support operations, and user experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external clients, aligning technology services and operational capabilities with business objectives.
  • Lead client onboarding activities and act as the senior escalation point for critical operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and a positive service experience.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with technology and business partners, including vendor selection, contract renewals, licensing, and ongoing performance management.
  • Establish and mature 24x7 support capabilities, driving root cause analysis, process improvements, and proactive measures that enhance system stability and reduce recurring issues.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of engineers, analysts, and technology professionals, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
  • Promote continuous learning, accountability, innovation, and cross-functional partnership while supporting career growth and organizational success.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3+ years in a formal people management or leadership role.
  • Direct experience managing Control-M (or similar enterprise schedulers), Control-D, and MFT platforms.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure operations within AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • Demonstrated experience with data transmission protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS) and high-volume print fulfillment workflows.
  • Proven track record of managing high-severity production incidents
