Department Overview

The men and women of Electric Transmission & Distribution(T&D) ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric T&D is responsible for every aspect of PG&E’s electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response. 

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively. This position is with the Work & Resource Planning Team in Electric Transmission & Distribution Portfolio and Program Management. Represent electric operations in enterprise and cross-functional work and resource planning forums. Identify and support planning process improvements. Work in close collaboration with resource teams to ensure processes are defined to support delivery of quality and executable plans.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. Monthly travel to offices in Dublin and Stockton is required.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

Bay Area Minimum: $144,000

Bay Area Mid:$194,000
Bay Maximum: $244,000

California Minimum:$137,000

California Mid:$184,000

California Maximum:$232,000

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads cross functional projects or teams.
  • Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels.
  • Develops KPIs, metrics and supporting visual management
  • Develops and manages processes to support financial performance. Regularly monitors financials against forecast, identifying planning process opportunities
  • Communicates projects status to all stakeholders
  • Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Presents findings and makes recommendations to management.
  • Works with all levels of management and senior leadership across functions to influence decisions and shape processes

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 10 years

Desired:

  • Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
