Rockstar is on the lookout for a passionate Associate Principal Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Game Security team. This role will be responsible for identifying and analyzing potential threats to Rockstar's Live Service titles as well as the organization at large. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of intelligence and investigations principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to stay ahead of emerging threats.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
  • The Rockstar Game Security team is responsible for protecting our players, employees, and intellectual property.
  • We support all Rockstar titles from malicious actors and insider threats.
  • We work closely with other teams to enforce, support, and improve security solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and prevent fraudulent or malicious behavior using open-source intelligence (OSINT), internal tools, and investigative methods.
  • Own complex investigations, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis from multiple systems.
  • Maintain intelligence on relevant subjects and emerging threats.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality investigative reporting and intelligence outputs.
  • Support response efforts for security incidents and escalations as needed.
  • Drive process improvements, including automation and tooling to scale investigative workflows.
  • Develop and maintain reporting to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, investigative techniques, and threat landscapes.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years professional experience in threat intelligence, investigations, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in intelligence gathering, monitoring, and investigative reporting.
  • Experience conducting complex investigations across digital platforms.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and systems (e.g., SQL, Hadoop, or similar).
  • Experience with link analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations related to investigations.
  • Background in threat intelligence, open-source intelligence or internal/external investigations preferred.
  • Familiarity with security assessment tools and monitoring systems.
PLUSES

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
