The Challenge
As the BI Analyst within the R&D Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and delivering impactful data insights to support our global Product Management and Engineering teams. You will leverage data to influence decision-making, lead analytics projects from end to end, and provide strategic insights to enhance our Product Management and Engineering processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on analytics environment, has a strong background in data analytics, experience with SaaS Product and/or Engineering, and is eager to design metrics, solve complex problems, and drive reporting excellence.
Your Mission
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports to track key Product and Engineering velocity, quality, reliability metrics, and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze Product and Engineering data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, supporting decision-making across multiple functions.
  • Create predictive models and scenario analyses to improve product strategies and planning, and engineering performance.

Operational Support
  • Lead end-to-end execution of Product and Engineering analytics projects, from scoping requirements to delivering impactful results.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve Product and Engineering effectiveness.
  • Build, maintain, and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into R&D performance.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, solve problems, and uncover opportunities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering Operations, Strategy, HR, Finance, and other business functions to align R&D operations with broader organizational objectives.
  • Provide ad-hoc operational and analytical support to Product and Engineering leaders as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize analytics tools to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline R&D operations.

Your Experience Includes

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction from data warehouses and performing data transformations.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Power BI to develop data models and dashboards.
  • Familiar with modern SaaS product development processes

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

$112,500-$168,750 USD
