IronEagleXis seeking aSenior PrincipalIntelligence Analyst, Agentic AI Integrationto support our AI team in Crystal City, VA.This role will infuse AI-enabled tools and methods intoanalytic processes to accelerate and improve insights in arepeatable,responsible,and mission-relevant manner.This position requires the ability to translate mission requirements into practical AI-enabled analytic approaches, support adoption across analytic teams, and ensure that AI outputs arevalidated, explainable, and aligned with established intelligence tradecraft standards.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As aSeniorPrincipalIntelligence Analyst, Agentic AI Integration, you willwork with analysts, data scientists, software developers, and AI engineers toleveragecutting-edgeAI solutions to deliver data analytic productsto answer critical questionsand requirements.

JOB DUTIES(INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into intelligence analysis workflows to improve research, data discovery, pattern recognition, and reporting.

  • Assistanalysts in using AI capabilities responsibly, including validation of outputs, source evaluation, confidence assessment, and analytic rigor.

  • Work with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and software developers toidentifyanalytic pain points and design practical AI-assisted solutions.

  • Evaluateandtest AI tools, prompts, workflows, and automation techniques for intelligence use cases.

  • Support development of repeatable analytic methodologies that combinesubject matterexpertisewith AI-generated insights.

  • Translate mission requirements into use cases for machine learning, natural language processing, entity extraction, knowledge management, link analysis, and data enrichment.

  • Develop guidance, standard operating procedures, and best practices for AI-assisted analytic workflows.

  • Support analytic production by applying AI-enabled techniques to large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to refineand improvetools and ensure capabilities meet operational requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience conductingall-source and multi-disciplineintelligence analysis.

  • Understanding of intelligence tradecraft, analytic standards, sourcing, confidence levels, and structured analytic techniques.

  • Familiarity withusingPython for workflow automation in Jupyter notebooks,Streamlit, or similar technologies

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, automation, data analytics, or natural language processing concepts.

  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, bias, and mission applicability.

  • Experience working with large datasets, analytic platforms, knowledge repositories, or intelligence databases.

  • Strong writing, briefing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical analytic users.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience applying generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, and/or automated data extraction to analytic workflows.

  • Experience with Python, SQL, Jupyter notebooks, graph/link-analysis tools, and/or other analytic platforms.

  • Familiarity with model evaluationandhuman-in-the-loop workflows.

  • Experience with retrieving data and interacting with services through APIs.

  • Experience developing training, playbooks, SOPs, or adoption plans for new analytic tools.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Clearance:Current TS/SCI Clearance with current or willingness to obtain CI polygraph

  • Experience:10+years of related experience

  • Education:Bachelors degreepreferred

  • Role requirements:This position is onsite in Crystal City, VA and requires travel for 60-90 days to CONUS sites each year

  • Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
