Location: South Carolina (Must reside in the state or be willing to relocate)


Travel Requirements: 50% or less, with most travel being day trips within a few hours. Some overnight stays may be necessary. The company covers all travel expenses and provides a truck and all necessary gear for inspections. There will also be travel requirement to Virginia where the company is headquartered.

Once a team is built there will be less travel requirements for this role.

Mid-Atlantic Engineering is searching for a Lead/Principal Bridge Engineer to head our expansion into South Carolina.


What You'll Do:
  • Direct and oversee bridge design, inspection, and rehabilitation projects.
  • Develop new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide high-level technical oversight and ensure quality control.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Manage project execution, budgets, and client deliverables.
