As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you'll play a critical role in both customer experience and store operations. In addition to engaging customers and representing the Born Primitive lifestyle, you'll take on responsibilities such as supporting the store management team in achieving sales and operational goals.
We are looking for a candidate who can work our weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday totaling around 8 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service
  • Communicate our brand's mission and values, and educate customers about our product lines
  • Open and/or close procedures
  • Assist in supervising daily store operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently during your shift
  • Operate the POS system, handle returns/exchanges, and troubleshoot minor issues when leadership is not present
  • Support inventory processes and help prevent loss through vigilant attention to store policies and security
  • Maintain visual standards, restock merchandise, and ensure a clean, organized store environment
  • Lead by example and help foster a positive, team-focused work culture
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Qualifications
  • Prior retail or customer service experience required.
  • Dependable and responsible with a strong sense of integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy.
  • Passion for fitness, lifestyle apparel, or the Born Primitive brand is a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation Information: Born Primitive is committed to pay transparency. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Final compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other legitimate business considerations. This position may also be eligible for additional benefits and incentive compensation, where applicable.
