Job description

BayLife Physical Therapy/Quality Performance Rehab (QPR) has 10 clinics across the central/SE Florida area and we are continuing to grow. The QPR team provides the best individualized patient care in St. Lucie county and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for a FULL-TIME Patient Care Coordinator to provide front office duties for our Prima Vista location.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all front office duties:
  • Answering phones and greeting everyone with a smile
  • Computerized scheduling using WebPT
  • Basic Microsoft Excel reporting
  • Performing insurance verifications/authorizations
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Basic patient care support to the physical therapists in a team-based environment

Previous medical experience & understanding of medical insurance preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Insurance industry claims processing/management desirable but not required
  • Attention to detail--mathematical and data processing
  • Data processing proficiency—Practice management software, Microsoft Word
  • Communication skills—written, verbal and general interactive
  • Organizational skills—priority setting, file maintenance & report generation
