Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
Compensation: $29.25 an hour
Classification: Part-Time, non-exempt
Location: ONT Field

Position Description: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the ONT Field warehouse inventory and equipment through company security measures and standards.
Essential Functions:
  • Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of product.
  • Work with Food and Beverage Management Team to properly develop all cost and recipes in NCR/Quest to ensure that all theoretical and actual costs are being met.
  • Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for ONT Field outlets, to effectively manage out-of-stocks, out-of-date product and weeks-on-hand to fulfill needs.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts with peer management using Quest systems.
  • Communicates with affected managers and front-line personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect a delivery, as well as to discuss alternative product needs where required to meet demand.
  • Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered product and equipment.
  • Evaluates products to assure that quality, price and related goods are consistently met as well, reviews and negotiates vendor contracts and pricing.
  • Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates and pulls product and ensures that work is completed using safe practices.
  • Ensures proper procedures are met for orders through Purchase Orders, Invoices and financial reconciliation
  • Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each member of the team.
  • Monitors workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes.
  • Supervises the completion of all daily warehouse work. Models and leads company culture and safety leadership, and all key initiatives relating to these core values, to provide a positive and productive work environment.
  • Owns and fosters effective communication at all levels of the organization. Maintains all business records and documentation as required including personnel records, warehouse product and asset inventories, route inventory data and vendor sales, contact and pricing communication.
  • Abides by all Company policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures, the Business Code of Conduct.
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience/Training/Education Requirements:
  • Must be 21 to apply
  • Received High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in management level position in warehouse operations and procurement
  • Minimum of three years' previous supervisory experience, preferably in an ONT Field environment
  • Previous experience with inventory distribution
  • Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
  • Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Strong computer skills with Windows platform, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
  • Extensive knowledge of Quest or similar food service program
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

License/Certificate:
A valid food handler's card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date

  • Must be knowledgeable of State and Local Health and Alcohol ordinances and the implementation of these ordinances

  • Ability to interact with all levels of customers and staff including management
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 25 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Must be able to pass the background.
