Location: Chesapeake, VA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM

Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Job Description:
The Pump Division Manager is responsible for working with Project Managers, Foreman, Mechanics and Machinists to complete high quality repairs on horizontal split case pumps, overhung pumps, vertical turbine pumps, vertical centrifugal pumps and other high-energy rotating equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow and improve established procedures while mentoring others and collaborating within a skilled team. This role also requires regular interaction with other management teams from Quality, Engineering, Transportation, Purchasing, Field Service, Executive Management, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a team environment and comply with all EMC policies and procedures.
- Participate and/or conduct applicable production meetings and pre-job briefs with pump division team leads to review job expectations and checklists.
- Oversee all relevant company processes and systems
- Track operational costs, responsible for Departmental Income Statement
- Responsible for Departmental Forecasting, Job Pricing, Invoicing, Profit Margins
- Direct Correspondence with Customers and Vendors
