We're hiring a Maintenance Assistant - a hands-on team member who helps ensure our community is safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. This role blends technical skill, attention to detail, and a heart for service.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the community in excellent condition
  • Support safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all areas of the property
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations
  • Assist with repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets
