Press Leadperson – 1st Shift

Location: South Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: Starting at $30.00/hour (up to $32.00/hour based on experience)

Position Summary

A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and organized Press Leadperson to oversee press setup and operations while supporting safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role is responsible for leading and training team members, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and driving continuous improvement within the press department.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of press operations, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead press setup and operation processes to ensure efficient production.
  • Train and mentor employees on press operations, safety practices, and department procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and workflow within the press department.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation of process improvements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of training materials and resources.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide guidance for skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams and management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of press setup and operation processes.
