POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Title: Assistant Vice President
Location: Cary, NC
Overview
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design, implement, test, and support software solutions in production. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing and developing enterprise server-side applications using Java and object-oriented programming principles; leveraging Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build modular and maintainable backend systems; developing scalable RESTful web services and microservices using Spring-based technologies and service-oriented architecture principles; applying test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) techniques to improve test coverage and support high-quality software delivery; performing continuous refactoring to enhance code quality and performance; designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications in cloud computing environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalability, security, and fault tolerance; building containerized applications using Docker and orchestrating deployments using Kubernetes; implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments to UAT and production environments; providing production support by monitoring application behavior, troubleshooting live issues, performing root-cause analysis, and incorporating user feedback to improve system stability and reliability; developing responsive single-page applications using frontend technologies including Angular Framework, Type Script, HTML, and CSS and integrating client-side components with backend REST APIs.
