Description

A fast growing, short-run manufacturer of custom-printed stored value cards (e.g. gift, loyalty, membership cards) seeks a qualified individual for its graphic design/prepress department. The ideal candidate will have print production experience, graphic design skills, outstanding computer skills, ability to multi-task, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare artwork for print production, operate plate making systems.

Operate Xerox and Canon Digital Presses.

Organize and maintain prepress files.

Work closely with the Production and Prepress Manager to schedule jobs for print production

Skills & Qualifications

High level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, .psd., .pdf, .eps Knowledge of digital and offset (plate production). HP SmartStream knowledge is a bonus.

Must have outstanding general computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software systems

Ability to type at least 30 words per minute

Ability to work quickly, multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy (i.e. attention to detail and organizational skills are a must)
