Job Title: DishwasherPosition Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring all items are clean, organized, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities:- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen floors, and waste disposal areas
- Empty trash and recycling containers regularly
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed (e.g., peeling, portioning)
- Restock clean dishes and supplies to appropriate areas
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Report any equipment issues or breakages to management
Qualifications:- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Environment:- Fast-paced kitchen setting
- Exposure to heat, water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Schedule & Compensation:- Part-time
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
