POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator with a strong focus on storytelling, video production, photography, and digital content creation. This role will be based out of the organization's Southwest office in Phoenix, Arizona. Please include a portfolio showcasing video, social media, photography, and digital content work along with your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creative storyteller with a passion for developing engaging digital and social-first content.
  • Ability to conceptualize, capture, edit, and deliver short-form, high-impact videos optimized for social media platforms.
  • Proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized individual with demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage, and produce multiple deliverables for various groups simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to active jobsite, office, client, and event environments.
  • Strong visual eye for photography, composition, branding, and storytelling.
  • Strategic thinker who can partner with Business Development, Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing teams to create compelling digital content that elevates brand awareness, recruitment, culture, and client engagement.
  • Ability to support events through live content capture, photography, video recap creation, and social media amplification.
  • Proactive in engaging partners and project personnel to inform content collection through live interviews, pre-shoot scripting, and messaging.

Technical Skills
  • Ability to independently produce professional-quality videos from planning and storyboarding, through scripting, filming, audio capture, lighting, editing, and motion graphics.
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with DSLR, mirrorless, mobile, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Smart and effective use of AI tools to accelerate ideation, editing and workflows while maintaining high-quality original work.
  • Experience editing and optimizing content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios including reels, stories, vertical video, and web formats.
  • Ability to create branded graphics, thumbnails, captions, and supporting digital assets.
  • Skilled in event coverage including photography, live social posting, recap videos, and branded event content.
  • Ability to conduct market and audience research while leveraging social media analytics, engagement metrics, and content performance insights to support content strategy and campaign development.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Digital Media/Marketing, Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field.
  • Experience in digital content creation, social media marketing, video production, photography, or related marketing role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience filming and editing content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Understanding of current social media trends, content strategies, and platform best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
