Your future role
  • Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure work environment
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Supervise on-site personnel and ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Provide leadership and direction in resolving construction-related issues and challenges
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation
  • Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment necessary for successful project execution
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required skills
  • At least five years of experience in construction management or a related field
  • Certified in industrial equipment operations (e.g., scissor lift, boom lift, forklift)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • NCCCO Crane Operator certified
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software
  • Willingness to travel to project sites
  • Bilingual English and Spanish - an asset
