Electrical Journeyman – Lead High-Quality Installations Across New Jersey

Job Overview
  • Company: Complete Electrical Installations.

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

  • Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime.

  • Project Scope: Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Electrical Contracting

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Electrical Journeyman License or ability to obtain within 1 year; Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital field leader, driving the successful execution of diverse electrical projects while managing and guiding skilled crews. This role offers the autonomy to oversee complex installations for a company that prioritizes quality, safety, and your long-term professional growth. How You Will Make an Impact
  • Supervise and lead a dedicated team of electricians to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

  • Interpret and execute complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure precise installations.

  • Install, repair, and maintain sophisticated electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and rigorous inspections to ensure all systems comply with local, state, and national codes.

  • Enforce strict safety protocols on every job site to maintain a secure and hazard-free working environment for the entire crew.

  • Coordinate directly with project managers and other trades to align goals and exceed client expectations on every assignment.

  • Manage and order essential materials, tools, and equipment to maintain seamless project workflows and prevent delays.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks for field crews.

  • High proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and wiring diagrams.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of current electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and perform labor-intensive tasks for extended periods.

  • Reliable transportation and a commitment to maintaining a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience in a mentorship role or training junior team members in a field environment.

  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
