Job description

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you’ll be one of the first friendly voices our customers connect with as they place meal orders. If you love helping people, enjoy talking with others, and are excited to learn and grow, this could be an awesome fit. The starting wage is $17.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with the potential for overtime starting at 7:00am.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
  • Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Input order information into the appropriate client order screen
  • Document all conversations with client into client information database
  • Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file
  • Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients
  • Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed
Required Skills & Experience
  • High school degree or GED
  • 1 year of previous customer service experience
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting
  • Clear oral communication skills
  • Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
  • Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 1 year of previous call center experience
  • Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams
  • Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
  • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
