Job description

Presbyterian Homes and Services is seeking a Full-time Meals Delivery Driver to join its Optage Meals team in the role of Service Coordinator/Driver. 

This Full-time position will be expected to work bewteen 30-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday based on the need of the program. The hours are day shift, generally starting around 7 am. The vehicle is provided and the route is easily navigated through an app on a company provided work phone.

The Service Coordinator/Driver position is responsible for picking up meals from the Home Delivered Meals kitchen, delivering the meals to seniors on a specified route, rotating and observing consumption of food, assessing home situations, interacting with customers, ensuring that seniors are communicated with and are safe; reporting any information that presents a question or concern for a senior’s well-being or safety to management immediately, maintaining documentation including collecting and filing menus and returning the food carriers to the home delivered meals main kitchen.


  1. Excellent customer service skills.
  2. A Valid Class D driver’s license.
  3. Previous work experience as a driver preferred.
  4. Excellent driving record.
  5. Must possess patience, tact, positive attitude, enthusiasm, ability to work as independently as well as a team player.
  6. Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and effectively with clients, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the public.
  7. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  8. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHSs typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employees qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
