Job description

Delivery Driver — Full-Time & Part-Time

Chick-fil-A delivery drivers are the last impression a guest gets — and often the deciding factor in whether they order from us again. We're looking for drivers who take that seriously: safe behind the wheel, sharp communicators, and proud to represent our brand outside the four walls of the restaurant.

What sets this apart from a typical delivery gig:

  • Set schedule with reliable hours (not app-based gig work — you're part of our team)
  • Competitive pay: [$12/hr + tips] (typically Delivery Drivers average wage is $17-20/hr with tips)
  • Closed every Sunday
  • Clear path to Team Leader and beyond, with hands-on mentorship from our Operator and Leaders
  • Scholarship opportunities for continued education
  • A workplace culture built on respect, not just \hospitality\ as a buzzword

What you'll actually do:

  • Deliver meals safely and on time, communicating proactively with guests through our delivery app when there's a delay or issue
  • Represent the Chick-fil-A standard of care at the door — the same warmth and attentiveness guests get inside the restaurant
  • Keep your vehicle and the delivery staging area clean, organized, and ready to go
  • Check in with your shift supervisor for specific duties and priorities each shift

What we're looking for:

  • A clean driving record and a valid state-issued driver's license
  • A smartphone with a reliable data plan and GPS
  • Ability to lift/carry delivery totes and supplies (approx. 1–50 lbs.)
  • Someone who communicates clearly and stays calm under pressure — traffic, wrong addresses, and impatient guests happen, and how you handle it matters
  • Punctuality and dependability — we're building a schedule around you, so we need to be able to count on you

Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
