Job Overview

We are seeking skilled TIG/MIG Precision Welders to join a precision manufacturing environment producing critical components used in industrial fluid and transport systems.

This role involves welding high-spec parts made from multiple alloys, including stainless steel, carbon steel, Monel, and Hastelloy. Welders are expected to work from blueprints and welding specifications while meeting strict quality and safety standards.

Candidates will complete a hands-on weld test during the interview process, with a tiered evaluation (Level Iโ€“III) used to assess skill level and determine starting pay.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on a variety of metal components
  • Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and process specifications
  • Set up and position parts for welding using measurement tools and fixtures
  • Monitor welding processes to prevent distortion, overheating, or defects
  • Inspect finished welds for quality and conformance to specifications
  • Work with multiple alloys including stainless steel, carbon steel, Monel, and Hastelloy
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Complete required documentation and production paperwork
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications
  • Experience welding in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
  • Strong understanding of welding equipment and setup
  • Ability to pass an on-site welding test (Level I minimum required)
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience welding pressure vessels, valves, or regulated components
  • Experience working with exotic alloys (Monel, Hastelloy)
  • Familiarity with welding standards such as ISO or similar quality systems
  • Experience using rotary tables or precision welding setups
  • AWS certification or equivalent training
