Job description

Precision Welding & Installation LLC (PWI) is seeking an experienced PEMB Superintendent / Lead
Building Erector to oversee commercial and industrial metal building projects throughout Ohio

This is not an entry-level foreman position.

We are looking for an individual with real-world experience leading crews and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings from foundation to completion.

If you can take a set of erection drawings, organize a crew, solve problems in the field, and deliver a quality building safely and efficiently, we want to speak with you.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

•Supervise and direct PEMB erection crews
• Read and interpret structural steel and PEMB erection drawings
• Coordinate daily manpower, equipment, and material needs
• Verify building layout and dimensions
• Oversee installation of primary framing, secondary framing, roof systems, wall systems, trim, and accessories
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer installation requirements
• Coordinate deliveries and subcontractors
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain jobsite safety
• Identify and resolve installation issues before they become delays
• Communicate directly with project management regarding schedule, manpower, and project progress

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•Minimum 3-5 years of PEMB erection experience
• Previous experience leading crews on commercial or industrial building projects
• Ability to read and interpret erection drawings and shop drawings
• Knowledge of structural steel erection practices
• Experience with standing seam roof systems
• Experience operating telehandlers, aerial lifts, and construction equipment
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Nucor, American Buildings, Butler, CBC, Varco Pruden, Kirby, or similar PEMB systems
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Rigging and signaling certifications
• Welding experience
• Experience with insulated wall systems and liner panel systems
• Ability to manage multiple crews and projects
