Program High-Precision Medical Device Components on Advanced Star Swiss Equipment

Acero Precision is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to lead programming, process development, machine setup, and machining optimization for our growing Swiss machining department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Swiss machining professional who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, improving production efficiency, and developing robust machining processes for precision medical device components.

You'll work with advanced Star Swiss lathes in a modern, climate-controlled manufacturing environment where quality, innovation, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.

What You'll Do

  • Program, setup, and optimize Star Swiss lathes for production
  • Develop manufacturing processes for tight-tolerance medical device components
  • Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times
  • Select tooling, establish cutting parameters, and optimize machine performance
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
  • Support machinists and production personnel during setup and production runs
  • Validate processes through first article inspections and process verification
  • Machine precision components from stainless, titanium, aluminum, plastics, and specialty alloys

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of CNC Swiss programming and setup expererience
  • Experience programming Swiss-style lathes with Fanuc controls
  • Experience with Star Swiss machines or comparable Swiss platforms
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
  • Experience with PartMaker, Mastercam, CAMWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and Swiss machining processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve machining performance
  • Strong understanding of quality inspection methods
