Pay Range of $32.00/hour to $39.00/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities.

Additional $2.00/hour 2nd shift differential

As a Swiss Machinist your mission is to produce small, advanced precision components by owning the full setup-to-run process in our Swiss department. You'll ensure quality at the source, sustain throughput, and collaborate with teammates to keep work flowing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Swiss Machine Setup & Operation - Configure, set up, and operate CNC Swiss machines to meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
  • Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation - Read and interpret blueprints, operation drawings, and apply GD&T principles.
  • Mitsubishi Controls - Utilize Mitsubishi controls to load, adjust, and execute machining programs. Adjust G-code/M-code as needed.
  • Precision Inspection - Perform inprocess and final inspections using precision gauges and measurement instruments.
  • Tooling & Troubleshooting - Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Documentation & Collaboration - Document work accurately, follow established procedures, and collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations.

Required Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of Swiss CNC experience setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes
  • Demonstrated proficiency with GD&T, CNC tooling, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Mitsubishi controls; ability to read and edit Gcode/Mcode programs.
  • High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprintreading skills.
  • Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.

  • Citizen Swiss machine experience.
  • Experience operating multiple Swiss CNC machines.
  • Experience supporting prototype or new product introduction activities.
