Precision Ag Sales & Service Specialist

CJ Beeps Equipment is Eastern Iowa's new short line equipment dealer and growing used equipment dealership, providing parts and service to farmers across the Tri-State area. Deeply rooted in the local community, CJ Beeps is committed to dependable equipment, honest service, and long-term customer relationships.


CJ Beeps Equipment is seeking a committed, self-motivatedPrecision Ag Sales & Service Specialistto support and grow the dealership's Ag Leader and Precision Planting business at their Farley, Iowa location.


This role sits at the intersection ofagriculture, equipment, and technology-working directly with customers to identify the right precision solutions while providinghands-on installation, setup, and in-season support. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, working in the field, and building long-term customer relationships.


Working closely with customers, the parts team, service team, and General Manager, this position plays a key role in selling, installing, troubleshooting, and supporting precision ag systems. CJ Beeps is continuously striving to improve so they can better support customers and their team.


RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

  • Precision Ag Sales & Support
    • Sell and support Ag Leader and Precision Planting products and solutions based on customer needs, equipment compatibility, and operation goals.
      • Recommend precision ag products and systems that improve accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
      • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a service-driven, sales-minded approach
      • Follow up with customers on current and future equipment, technology, and upgrade opportunities
      • Coordinate with the marketing team to support precision ag growth initiatives
      • Assist with demonstrations, customer visits, and events related to precision ag products and support
  • Installation, Setup & Service
    • Install, configure, and support precision ag systems while helping ensure customers are ready for the season and confident in the technology they are using.
      • Install and set up monitors, GPS systems, guidance components, steering systems, and planting technology
      • Calibrate and troubleshoot Ag Leader and Precision Planting systems on customer equipment
      • Provide start-up support and in-season service for planting, application, harvesting, and guidance functions
      • Assist customers with monitor settings, mapping, field data, prescriptions, and system optimization
      • Maintain accurate documentation of installs, service work, updates, and customer support needs
  • Customer Experience & Team Coordination
    • Serve as a key point of contact for precision ag customers and work closely with internal departments to provide dependable service and follow-through.
      • Deliver timely, professional communication to customers throughout the sales and service process
      • Work closely with the parts and service departments to ensure equipment and components are available and ready
      • Help resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
      • Maintain visibility into customer needs, seasonal priorities, and support opportunities
      • Foster a positive, team-focused work environment aligned with CJ Beeps' values


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in agriculture, precision ag, farm equipment, service, or a related operational environment preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with Ag Leader, Precision Planting, GPS, monitors, guidance, or planting systems strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and computer skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to understand technical equipment issues and translate them into clear next steps or solutions
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak or seasonal periods
  • Availability for rotating Saturdays in coordination with the parts department


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • Pay: Dependent on experience, with room for growth and advancement
  • Schedule:
    • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (rotating schedule)
    • This is a fully on-site role; remote work is not available
