What You’ll Do as a Precast Engineer

  • Execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
  • Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards.
  • Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
  • Support cost estimation.
  • Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.

Salary Range $72,000-$85,000

Requirements:

What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Precast Engineer

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred
  • 3 - 5 years minimum of transportation/structural engineering experience
  • Precast concrete design engineering course or design experience preferred
  • EIT or ability to obtain it
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
