We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. In this hands-on role, you'll work with precision magnet components, performing assembly, inspection, and production processes that contribute to high-quality finished products.

• Prepare magnet components through tumbling, washing, and cleaning processes
• Assemble small and large components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Set up, operate, and calibrate magnetizing/demagnetizing equipment and production presses
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify product dimensions
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality
• Complete production records and quality documentation accurately
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives throughout the production process

• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Experience operating press equipment preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This position is located in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. Employees work primarily independently while collaborating with production and quality teams as needed.

The environment may include exposure to manufacturing materials such as oils, coolants, and lubricants. Appropriate PPE is provided and required, including hearing protection in designated production areas. Safety is a top priority, supported by established procedures and ongoing training.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
