Job description

Minutemen is recruiting for a Pre-Press Operator at a large commercial printer in Crestview Hills area. Must have previous experience as a Pre-Press Operator in a graphics or printing production environment. This is a 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p. Pay is $25-$28 BOE. Strong knowledge of color management and printing processes required.


Responsibilities:

File Preparation: Receive and review digital files, ensuring they are properly formatted, color-corrected, and optimized for printing.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or issues in the digital files.

Color Management: Adjust and maintain color profiles to ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction.

Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard pre-press software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to prepare files for various printing processes.

Communication: Collaborate closely with production teams and clients to clarify job requirements and resolve any file-related issues.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate pre-press equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the pre-press process.

Efficiency: Streamline workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pre-Press Operator in a printing or graphics production environment a plus. Proficiency in pre-press software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong knowledge of color management and printing processes.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
