SALARY: $63,000-$82,000/year DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote) | Flexible Hours | Direct Hire

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Draft, edit, and proofread pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents while managing electronic and physical case files.
- Prepare and electronically file documents with Oregon state and federal courts while monitoring litigation deadlines and maintaining attorney calendars.
- Coordinate depositions, expert witnesses, medical records, and client communications while supporting discovery and trial preparation.
- Assist attorneys with complex litigation matters, including insurance defense, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, appellate work, and civil rights defense.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably supporting complex litigation, insurance defense, or medical malpractice practices.
- Strong knowledge of Oregon court rules, litigation procedures, calendaring, and electronic court filing.
- Experience with legal software such as iManage, ProLaw, Adobe Acrobat Pro, or similar document management systems.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills with a professional, client-focused communication style.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods while preparing and reviewing legal documents.
- Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry legal files or office materials up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to move throughout the office to support attorneys, attend meetings, and manage case files as needed.
