Job description

Pre-Construction CoordinatorAtlanta, GA (On-Site)Position Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Pre-Construction Coordinator to support the planning and development of multifamily residential construction projects. This role will work closely with development, construction, architecture, and estimating teams to help coordinate project planning activities before construction begins.

The ideal candidate is early in their construction career but has a strong interest in project planning, design technology, and multifamily development. Experience with digital design tools, particularly Google SketchUp, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre-construction planning for multifamily residential development projects.
  • Support coordination between development, design, architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and design documents.
  • Develop and update conceptual site layouts and building models using SketchUp and other digital design tools.
  • Participate in project feasibility evaluations and constructability reviews.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and bid package preparation.
  • Coordinate project documentation and maintain accurate project records.
  • Support scheduling efforts and track pre-construction milestones.
  • Work with vendors, consultants, architects, and subcontractors throughout the planning phase.
  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing solutions before construction begins.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in construction, architecture, development, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Experience using Google SketchUp required or strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, site plans, and building layouts.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in multifamily residential development and construction.
