S&S Mechanical is searching for a motivated and dependable full-time Commercial HVAC Apprentice to join our growing team in St. George, UT.

ARE YOU THE COMMERCIAL HVAC APPRENTICE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) of HVAC experience
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Commitment to safety and professionalism
  • Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, climbing, working in various conditions)
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Process-oriented mindset for accurate material handling and job site documentation
  • Team player who shows up on time and contributes to a positive work environment
  • Proactive communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license (preferred)

Schedule: This is a full-time position based in St. George, UT. The typical schedule is 7:00 am โ€“ 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekends depending on project needs.


AVERAGE DAY AS A COMMERCIAL HVAC APPRENTICE

You will arrive on the job site ready to learn and contribute. As a Commercial HVAC Apprentice, you will work side-by-side with experienced foremen and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in HVAC installation and construction. Throughout the day, you will assist with installing ductwork, equipment, and ventilation systems while learning the proper tools, materials, and techniques. You will follow directions from your foreman, support your crew, and help keep the job site clean, safe, and organized. You will begin to understand how jobs are scheduled, how materials are managed, and how different trades work together.
