A Dance Modeling job involves combining elements of dance and modeling to create visually captivating performances, photoshoots, or runway presentations. Dance models use expressive movement, poses, and choreography to showcase clothing, accessories, or artistic concepts for fashion designers, brands, photographers, or entertainment productions. This role requires strong dance skills, body awareness, and the ability to convey emotions through movement. Dance modeling opportunities can be found in commercials, music videos, fashion campaigns, stage productions, and artistic collaborations.
To thrive in Dance Modeling, you need strong dance technique, poise, body awareness, and the ability to visually tell a story, generally supported by formal dance training and modeling experience. Familiarity with stage lighting, photography setup, and choreography software can be valuable, and some jobs may require a portfolio or representation by an agency. Confidence, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills help you collaborate effectively with photographers, choreographers, and other creatives. American Heritage School is a mission-driven, faith-centered private school aligned with the teachings and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are seeking a dance team head coach who is passionate about both dance excellence and helping students grow physically, spiritually, socially, and intellectually.
Practices and performances: Practices 2-4 times per week beginning October 2026. Season finishes in mid-February 2027. Performances about once per week at halftime of varsity boys and girls basketball games.
Nature of the Role
This position is considered a faith-forming role within American Heritage School. In addition to quality dance instruction, coaches are expected to actively support, model, and teach principles consistent with the Mission and values of AHS and the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a dance background (hip hop, jazz, contemporary), with coach experience preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Professional Expectations
Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor and willing and able to serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus.
