Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission, Core Values and Vision; the Registered Nurse Pre-Admissions Testing will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
What you will do:
  • Accurately communicates pertinent information to providers, internal and external customers, office associates, patients and family members in a timely manner.

  • Provides clinical telephone communication as defined by protocol or provider instructions.

  • Documents accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.

  • Assists provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.

  • Thoroughly educates and explains procedures to patients and family members (diagnosis, disease process etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

  • Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

  • Experience: One year experience in surgical services preferred.
