RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role leads enterprise- or division-level revenue growth strategy across pricing, trade investment, and mix, shaping how growth levers are architected, governed, and deployed across Total Retail. The role defines and enforces RGM frameworks and standards while driving cross-brand and cross-customer optimization to deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth.

  • Architect and govern enterprise pricing and/or trade investment frameworks, including pricing principles, promotion architecture, elasticity standards, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Lead enterprise-wide price strategy and price-pack architecture (PPA) governance or trade investment architecture and gross-to-net frameworks.
  • Develop and direct cross-brand, cross-customer scenarios to optimize revenue, margin, and ROI at scale.
  • Establish and advance analytics capabilities, including elasticity modeling, AI/ML applications, and test-and-learn frameworks.
  • Govern portfolio-level mix strategy across pricing-led and promotion-led levers.
  • Serve as a primary RGM advisor to executive leadership across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy.
  • Deliver executive-ready insights that influence enterprise decision-making and long-term structural growth.
  • Drive enterprise margin expansion through pricing consistency, investment discipline, and reduced reactivity.
  • Lead capability building and evolution toward scalable, proactive revenue growth management.
  • Own enterprise-level RGM performance across multi-brand or business unit portfolio.
  • Accountable for enterprise price realization, trade efficiency, and margin expansion targets.
  • Lead RGM transformation initiatives including capability building, process redesign, and tool deployment.
  • Establish decision guardrails and approve or challenge major pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional forums to resolve trade-offs between growth, profitability, and customer investment.
  • Partner with data science teams to embed AI-driven decisioning and predictive analytics into RGM processes.
  • Monitor competitive, macroeconomic, and channel trends to inform enterprise pricing strategy.
  • Coach and develop RGM talent and broader commercial teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure execution feasibility and adoption of RGM strategies.
  • Requires minimum travel of 25%.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Growth Management, pricing strategy, marketing, finance, sales leadership, customer strategy, or management consulting
  • Proven experience with enterprise - or division-level strategy, governance, and executive influence
  • Deep expertise in pricing strategy, trade investment optimization, elasticity, and financial modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to operate strategically while driving scalable execution

Preferred

  • MBA strongly preferred (Finance, Marketing, Strategy, or Analytics focus)
  • Experience building or governing enterprise RGM frameworks and tools
  • Advanced analytics expertise, including AI/ML applications in pricing or trade optimization
  • Proven success driving enterprise margin expansion and gross-to-net improvement
  • Proven experience leading transformation and change management initiatives

  • Experience building enterprise-level analytics capabilities and influencing senior leadership decisions

  • Experience integrating external data, competitive intelligence, and macro trends into pricing strategy

LOCATION: Corporate Office, Chicago, IL / Eden Prairie, MN

A comprehensive relocation package to the above areas will be offered, if required.  

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for the Senior Revenue Growth Manager role is between $104,675 - $146,550, per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
