Can an employer sue you for working two jobs?

Practice Managers or similar professionals can generally work two jobs unless there is a non-compete agreement, conflict of interest, or employment contract clause prohibiting it. Practice managers can advance to senior management roles such as healthcare administrator, operations director, or executive director, often by gaining experience and additional certifications like Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE). They may also specialize in areas like finance, compliance, or human resources to broaden their career opportunities within healthcare organizations.

We are seeking a highly collaborative, strategic, and outcome driven IS Agile Project Manager II to join our Institutional Solutions Agile Release Train (ART). If you are energized by transformational initiatives, enterprise Agile delivery, cross functional leadership, and building strong partnerships between business and technology teams, we encourage you to apply.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary Project Manager II: $120,000 - $135,000, plus annual bonus.

  • Work-life balance with vacation, personal time and paid holidays. See our benefits and perks page for details.

  • Applicants for this position must not now, nor at any point in the future, require sponsorship for employment.

While this role is classified as remote; however, periodic in-person attendance will be required at times for activities such as quarterly or project planning, training, or other business-critical meetings

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead Agile delivery execution for at least two cross functional teams within the Institutional Solutions ART supporting strategic modernization initiatives.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities.

  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Solution Leads, business stakeholders, and IS Leadership to align priorities and drive delivery outcomes.

  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery challenges across multiple teams.

  • Drive coordination and collaboration across Agile Project Managers and partner teams to support complex, multi-team initiatives.

  • Support capacity planning, forecasting, resource coordination, and roadmap execution to improve delivery predictability.

  • Utilize Jira, Confluence, and enterprise planning tools to monitor delivery health, communicate progress, and improve operational transparency.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and high-quality business value delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of Agile Project Management experience supporting technology initiatives.

  • Must have demonstrated experience in complex risk management and facilitating complex trade-off decision making across multiple senior level stakeholders.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience partnering effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to proactively drive action, solve problems, and lead through ambiguity.

  • Experience using Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Indirect leadership experience with the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and continuous improvement oriented culture.

  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs) or scaled Agile organizations.

  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience managing complex cross-team dependencies within enterprise programs.

  • Familiarity with Dragonboat or similar program/project portfolio management tools.

  • Experience utilizing engineering delivery metrics and software delivery intelligence platforms.

  • Background supporting modern application development teams utilizing APIs, cloud, or modern engineering practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
