To obtain a PPS Credential, candidates typically need a relevant master's degree, complete a credentialing program, and fulfill fieldwork requirements.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of someone with a PPS Credential in a school setting?

They may also coordinate with outside agencies for additional resources, attend meetings related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation to comply with state and district regulations. Exceptional interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff are highly valued soft skills in this role. These abilities are critical for supporting student well-being, ensuring compliance, and facilitating effective interventions within educational settings.
