Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Required
  • Current RN license in Colorado and New Mexico (or ability to obtain reciprocal licensure)
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN clinical experience
  • Experience in abortion care
  • Competency in ultrasound skills
  • Strong comfort with EHR systems and technology
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane as needed

Preferred
  • Experience in clinical training, precepting, or onboarding
  • Eligibility to function as an ultrasound preceptor
  • Facilitation or teaching experience (group or 1:1)
  • Experience working across multiple clinic sites
  • Experience coordination programs or schedules cross departmentally

Primary Areas of Responsibility / Essential Functions:
RN Training & Onboarding Support
  • Provide direct clinical training and onboarding support for RNs, including:
    • Clinical skills + Patient Care
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
    • Intake and consent workflows and charting accuracy
    • Offer performance support and coaching under the guidance of clinical leadership.
    • Serve as a clinical training resource for RNs, APNs, and non-licensed staff.

Clinical Support (Independent Shifts)
  • Perform patient intake and back-office clinical duties as assigned duties may include:
    • Perform patient intake and consent
    • Assist with abortion procedures including sedation and recovery
    • Work closely with clinic staff and physician to assist with complex gyn
    • Operate as a RN in our VCC answering and triaging pt call and performing pt follow up
    • Collaborate with health center or virtual care team to anticipate needs and respond to patient flow.

Ultrasound Training & Coordination
  • Support and help manage the ultrasound training program, including:
    • Coordinating ultrasound precepting schedules
    • Tracking training progress and completion
    • Serving as a point of contact for staff in ultrasound training
    • Assist with ultrasound training communications (acceptance emails, expectations, follow-ups).
    • Co-facilitate ultrasound simulation (SIM) trainings, including:
    • Preparing training spaces
    • Requesting and returning SIM equipment
    • Teaching approved lesson plans
    • Providing group and 1:1 learner support
    • Act as an ultrasound preceptor/trainer.

Group Facilitation & Education
  • Facilitate clinical trainings and educational sessions both in person and virtually.
  • Deliver established curricula and support one-off trainings as assigned. Training support is not limited to the RN job role and may include programs to support procedural medical assistants, in house phlebotomy/ injection training, and BLS training.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and approachable resource for clinical staff.

Administrative, Scheduling & Program Support
  • Maintain accurate training schedules, tracking tools, and documentation.
  • Respond to learner and stakeholder feedback and suggest improvements to training processes.
  • Support training-related projects, materials updates, and internal systems.
  • Communicate regularly with health center leadership, clinical leadership, and the training team.
  • Travel within the region as needed to support training delivery.

Starting Pay: $39.22 to $49.68
*Although our full pay range is included above, placement is determined by candidate's experience.
Schedule: Full-time ~37.5 hours/week; Non-exempt; Benefits Eligible
