Your role often involves facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that all teams adhere to agreed-upon processes and timelines. This collaborative environment fosters a culture of accountability and transparency, making it essential to have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Regular status meetings, progress tracking, and documentation are common responsibilities to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track.

What are PPGs?

PPG stands for 'Patient and Public Groups' or sometimes 'Practice Performance Groups,' depending on the context. In healthcare, PPGs are groups made up of patients, carers, and members of the public who work with healthcare providers, such as general practices, to help improve the quality of care and services. They provide feedback, suggest improvements, and help practices better understand the needs of their patient population. PPGs also facilitate communication between patients and healthcare staff and often organize events or health promotion activities. These groups play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare is patient-centered and responsive to community needs.
