Community Highlights

North-Central Indiana is in the middle of it all, located just three hours or less by car from Midwest cities including Chicago, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne – but with its own unique vibe and easygoing lifestyle. Plymouth, the county seat of Marshall County is home to over 10,000 residents and is located just around 60 miles northwest of Fort Wayne. The county’s proximity to major highways and international airports makes it easily accessible for business and residents.
Here, we offer the opportunity to create your version of the American dream, whether you’re looking to grow your career, family or home.

In Marshall County, life is all about state-of-the-art amenities in a small-town atmosphere. Downtown Plymouth houses the areas newest performing arts center, the Rees Theater. This venue hosts a variety of events, from concerts and community theater to conferences and receptions. Down the street, expand your knowledge of the arts by meeting a new featured artist each month at the Heartland Artists Gallery or stimulate your creativity at Moontree Studios by taking a class in woodworking, weaving, painting, or one of the many other options they offer.

The Golf Club at Swan Lake Resort offers a chance to test your skills at two 18-hole championship courses or improve your game by spending time with PGA professionals at the Golf Academy. If golf isn’t for you, spend some time outdoors at the Plymouth Park and Recreational Department. This area provides an array of community amenities including a community swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds for the kids, and a 2-mile-long walking trail along the Yellow River.

The Marshall County Historical Society Museum is rich in the history and provides interactive experiences to learn more about the area. Grab a bite to eat at Christo’s Family Dining, a local family-owned restaurant that has been serving the community since the 80’s. Look forward to free entertainment each year at The Blueberry Festival, Indiana’s largest 4-day festival. The area is also home to small retail shops and antique stores as well as great schools, excellent parks, and a well-developed arts community.

Putting the Life in Your Work-Life Balance

North-Central Indiana has the charm of small-town life, but with big-city amenities, with vibrant downtown Fort Wayne just a little over an hour drive from Plymouth. It has dining and night-life that rival the most eclectic places across the nation. We are big on outdoor adventures, and we love to explore. If you’re a fan of professional sports, you won’t be bored. If you like fairs, festivals and happenings, you’ll have every weekend covered. There are so many events to keep you busy every day of the week!

We encourage you to come visit our growing health system and vibrant community and we will commit to welcoming you with our big-hearted hospitality.
