Our facility is equipped with advanced technology, including computerized paint matching systems, German-imported frame straightening machines, and premium PPG paint products. We offer a full range of services-from accident repairs and dent removal to 24-hour towing and rental car assistance.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Paint Prepper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces. This role is critical to ensuring a flawless final paint finish and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: Sand, mask, and clean vehicle surfaces in preparation for painting.

Priming: Apply primers and sealers to repaired areas to ensure proper paint adhesion.

Vehicle Protection: Mask and tape off surrounding areas to prevent overspray and ensure clean paint lines.

Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-prep inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Equipment Use: Operate and maintain prep tools and equipment in good working condition.

Workplace Safety: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure timely and accurate job completion.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in auto body paint preparation.

Skills: Strong knowledge of sanding, masking, and priming techniques.

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Languages: Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.

Certifications: I-CAR or equivalent training is a plus but not required.
