  • Partner closely with executive leadership to protect the company while enabling rapid, seasonal growth.
  • Own recruiting strategy and management during major seasonal surges tied to large-scale events.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the organization's day-to-day compliance partner on California and multi-state labor law, including meal/rest break, wage, and timekeeping compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a Recruiting Manager and team, scaling headcount from the hundreds to several thousand during peak seasonal periods.

  • Strong, hands-on California employment law and compliance knowledge.
  • Proven experience managing or scaling a recruiting function through periods of rapid, seasonal headcount change.
  • A collaborative, approachable leadership style with the ability to build trust across a young, diverse, frontline employee base.
  • Comfort with modern HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, LMS) and a track record of driving adoption of new systems.
  • Based in or able to relocate to Orange County, CA, with the ability to work on-site several days per week.
  • Experience in the security services industry is a plus, but not required.
