Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing paid media strategies that drive brand growth, lead generation, and revenue across both B2B and B2C audiences. This role focuses on full-funnel paid media performance, including awareness, consideration, and conversion, with a strong emphasis on PPC and conversion rate optimization. 

This Specialist operates as both a strategist and hands-on executor, managing campaigns across search, display, video, and programmatic channels. The role collaborates cross-functionally to deliver measurable results, leveraging data, experimentation, and emerging AI capabilities to improve campaign performance, efficiency, and scalability. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), YouTube, display, programmatic (DV360), 6sense, and emerging channels (e.g., CTV). 
  • Develop full-funnel strategies that support awareness, retargeting, and conversion goals for both B2B and B2C campaigns. 
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, bid strategy optimization, and campaign structuring to maximize performance. 
  • Write and optimize ad copy for search campaigns and landing pages; provide messaging recommendations for display and video creative. 
  • Own landing page performance by developing and executing A/B and multivariate tests using tools such as Instapage and AB Tasty. 
  • Analyze campaign performance using GA4, platform analytics, Salesforce, and 6sense; deliver monthly reporting with actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Optimize toward key KPIs including revenue, ROAS, pipeline, bookings, and cost per lead (CPL). 
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, platform-native AI) to support campaign development, analysis, and optimization. 
  • Apply AI to streamline workflows such as reporting, keyword research, audience insights, and testing ideation. 
  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with business goals. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scale through automation and AI-assisted processes. 
  • Contribute to improving marketing workflows by identifying repetitive or manual processes that could be streamlined or automated. 
  • Support testing strategies across campaigns and landing pages, using both platform tools and AI-assisted insights to accelerate learning. 
  • Collaborate with demand generation, content, creative, and marketing operations teams to align campaign strategy and execution. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging, targeting, and user experience are aligned across the funnel. 
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and evolving AI capabilities to continuously improve performance. 
Qualifications

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

  • Paid Media Strategy & Optimization: The ability to plan, execute, and continuously improve paid media campaigns across channels by applying data-driven strategies, testing methodologies, and performance insights to achieve business objectives. 
  • Data Analysis & Performance Marketing: The ability to interpret marketing data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and drive measurable results. 
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): The ability to analyze user behavior and optimize digital experiences through structured testing and experimentation to improve conversion rates and overall campaign performance. 
  • AI Integration and Optimization: The ability to effectively implement, integrate, and optimize artificial intelligence technologies within business processes. 
  • Target Market Knowledge: The ability to understand and apply insights about a specific group of consumers or businesses that Relias aims to reach with its products and solutions.  
  • Marketing Strategy: The ability to craft and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with and drive the overall business objectives. 
  • Marketing Tool Management: Utilization of a wide range of relevant marketing enablement tools. 
  • 2 years of experience directly managing paid search marketing campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads 
  • Strong management and reporting capabilities using Google Ads, Microsoft Ad, and GA4 platforms. 
  • Experience using AI tools to support marketing workflows, analysis, or content development. 
  • Bachelor's Degree 

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with paid media outside of search marketing: programmatic advertising, DV360, 6sense or other ABM platform, CTV, etc. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, PowerBI, Data Studio, Ahrefs, and other performance reporting tools. 
  • Experience with landing page optimization platforms (e.g., Instapage) and experimentation tools (e.g., AB Tasty). 
  • Current certifications in Google Ads, GA4, and/or Microsoft Advertising.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing (healthcare industry a plus).

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters (close to the Raleigh/Durham airport) approximately 30 days/quarter.
