Greenlight Autoworks is an Auto Repair & Fleet Service Center primarily servicing Fleets with High-top-Vans and Light Truck models, including Pro Master, Transit, Express, Silverado, and F-series. Our clients include Amazon, Home Depot, Marriott, Hilton, D.N.R., the state of Maryland and many others. We are open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to become a vital part of delivering fast and accurate repairs and maintenance to our clients. In this role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair light trucks and vans while ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on traditional engines or advanced automotive electrical systems, your hands-on approach will keep vehicles running smoothly and clients satisfied. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians eager to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values quality workmanship, continuous learning, and simplicity to your work day.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various systems including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
  • Repair and replace mechanical components using tools and equipment
  • Diagnose complex problems related to automotive electrical systems, engines, and transmissions with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Reassemble vehicles with attention to safety standards, ensuring proper installation of parts like powertrain components and electronic systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records, follow safety protocols diligently, and stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven auto repair experience
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience working with models/makes mentioned above is desired, but not required
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
