The Alliances / Partner team cultivates external relationships with strategic partners that align with the mission of PowerSchool to the benefit of our customers. This high energy team works strategically across the business in support of PowerSchool sales, product, and services teams to source 3rd party vendors that bolster PowerSchool products and solutions.

ResponsibilitiesDescription

The Senior Alliances / Partner Executive plays a pivotal role within PowerSchool, focusing on creating partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs) in the K-12 education space. This position requires an individual who is driven, adaptable, and highly motivated to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and a proactive attitude toward achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new partnership opportunities, nurturing relationships throughout all phases of the sales and onboarding process and ensuring alignment between partner products and PowerSchool's suite of solutions.  Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Developing and maintaining revenue generating partnerships with K-12 education technology vendors
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of PowerSchool solutions to accurately identify optimal ISV products for partnership.
  • Accurately managing pipeline reporting for each phase of the sales cycle in Salesforce CRM
  • Serving as a consultative sales professional, identifying use cases and developing deal structures that maximize value for all stakeholders
  • Bolstering relationships with partners through the onboarding, enablement and growth phases of the partnership experience with PowerSchool
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Track record of success meeting sales targets selling to C-Suite decision makers
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional work experience in K-12 education a plus
  • Travel occasionally, up to 10-20%

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $72,600 - $90,800 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
