Position Overview:

Under the direction of IT leadership, the Power Automate / Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise workflows and system integrations using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Integration Services. This role ensures reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient automations across Dynamics 365, SAP, Azure services, and third-party platforms in a complex enterprise environment.


Responsibilities:


Automation & Integration Development

· Design and maintain Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps

· Build secure integrations between D365, SAP, Azure, and third-party systems

· Implement resiliency, retries, and performance best practices

· Maintain documentation and integration diagrams


Monitoring, Performance & Troubleshooting

· Monitor automation health and execution patterns

· Diagnose failures, throttling, timeouts, and latency

· Analyze Dataverse API usage during peak hours

· Implement alerts using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics


Governance, Security & Compliance

· Ensure automations meet security and compliance standards

· Implement managed identities and service principals

· Follow Power Platform ALM and environment strategies

· Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams


Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

· Optimize automations for performance and cost

· Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders

· Stay current with Microsoft platform updates

· Guide junior developers


Additional Information

· Occasional off-hours support for production issues may be required

Requirements:


Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field required


Experience:

· 4+ years of experience in application development, systems integration, or automation

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power Automate and Microsoft Power Platform

· Experience supporting production automation with business-critical SLAs

· Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, service principals, and managed identities

· Experience integrating with Dynamics 365, SAP, Azure Functions, SQL, and SaaS platforms


Other Requirements:

· Experience with Azure Logic Apps

· Experience with Azure Function Apps

· Familiarity with Azure Integration Services (AIS)

· Knowledge of Power Platform governance and DLP policies

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Power Platform or Azure certifications preferred
