Job description

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to support our Corporate Services Technology team. The Opportunity:

As Senior Application Developer, you will report to the Application Development Group Manager to manage all technical aspects of assigned projects, including planning and resolving issues and converting business requirements to technical specifications. You will design and write code and services on the Microsoft platform, including Azure, and will act as the liaison between the business and development teams, ensuring business goals are met.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure
  • Perform detailed analysis and design, technical documentation, development and implementation, unit and integration testing, and transition and deployment of software components and systems on complex projects
  • Provide standards for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur
  • Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions
  • Ensure Azure cloud development follows security standards and compliance best practices
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
  • Coordinate coding and testing activities, and evaluate and verifiy various alternatives before making technical recommendations and resolving technical issues
  • Create logic flow charts and process diagrams
  • Support production software operations during normal business and off-hours
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues. May be responsible for client support to an entire business unit
  • Create unit test plan and test cases. Participate in regression and performance testing

Your Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of full stack web development experience with Microsoft technologies - ASP.Net, C#, .Net Core, Azure DevOps, and T-SQL
  • 8+ years of experience working with object-oriented programming languages (OOP) and relational databases and applying it in various applications, including within the Microsoft Azure platform
  • 4+ years of experience providing technical guidance and best practices for integration of Azure services with other third-party commercial platforms or custom applications
  • 6+ years of experience developing software for enterprise environment, including architecting and delivering custom code on multiple large-scale Azure Cloud implementations
  • 4+ years of experience with multiple cloud technologies in the Microsoft Stack (Azure IaaS and PaaS) along with familiarity with alternative cloud technologies
  • 8+ years of experience with modern web application development using one or more contemporary JavaScript frameworks – preferably Angular
  • 8+ years of experience designing and development on-premises and cloud-based (Azure) infrastructure and platform components
  • 4+ Experience supporting distributed enterprise systems with cloud-based application environments
  • 8+ years of Experience design and development expertise with web applications, DevOps, SDLC, and RESTful APIs
  • 10+ years of Solid knowledge of the C# and JavaScript applicable software development languages and understanding of modern APIs and services
  • 2+ years of Experience with at least one full life-cycle Azure cloud to cloud, on premise to cloud, or cloud to on premise development project
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field

Compensation:

  • $120,000 - $170,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
